ArchiveLM Cookie Policy
Effective date: 2026-05-12 Last updated: 2026-05-12
This Cookie Policy explains how archivelm.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They serve various purposes, from keeping you logged in to measuring how a site is used. We also use related technologies — local storage, session storage — for similar purposes; references in this policy to "cookies" include those equivalents.
2. Cookies we use
| Name / Pattern | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Strictly necessary | Maintains your authenticated session with our backend (Supabase) | Session + refresh, up to 1 hour |
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Strictly necessary | Supports the secure auth handshake | Until login completes |
__Host-next-* | Strictly necessary | Next.js framework session and security cookies | Session |
_ga, _ga_* | Analytics | Google Analytics — measures aggregated site usage | 2 years |
_vercel_* | Analytics / functional | Vercel Analytics and edge functionality | Up to 1 year |
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, behavioral advertising profiles, or sharing data with advertising networks.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the Service to function — without them you cannot log in or maintain a session. They do not track you across other sites and they do not require consent under most cookie laws.
4. Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the Service in aggregate — which pages are popular, where errors occur, how performance varies across regions. The data is aggregated and is not used to identify individuals.
If you are in a jurisdiction that requires consent for analytics cookies (most of the EU/UK, and increasingly elsewhere), we will request your consent before setting these. You may withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings or, where provided, through an in-platform cookie preference panel.
5. Your controls
You can manage cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings. Every modern browser lets you block cookies, delete existing cookies, or be prompted before accepting new ones. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Service.
- Google Analytics opt-out. Google's opt-out browser add-on blocks Google Analytics across sites.
- Do Not Track. Some browsers support a Do Not Track signal. We honor DNT signals for the analytics cookies described above.
6. Changes to this policy
We will post material changes to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If we add new cookies — particularly tracking or advertising cookies — we will obtain consent where required by law.
